Born and raised in Chongqing, China, Shiyin Pan has a dream of writing a series of children’s picture books with the main character Panda Bear. After relocating in Australia and giving birth to a baby girl, Shiyin finds herself some free time in between taking care of the household and reading stacks of picture books to her adorable daughter. Her dream of writing for a Panda came true. Pann the Prepared Panda is her first children’s book and will be the initial title for her series of Panda Pann.
Margaret Tolland is an artist from New Zealand, whose illustrations are packed with detail. Through her work, get closer to the habitats and lifestyles of the many species, both flora and fauna, that she explores with an eye on environmental education.
